Scrum Master

Location: Victoria/Remote

Duration: 12 Months contract + Possible extension

Job Description:

The Scrum Master is required to have the following mandatory skills and experience:

• Have a minimum of four (5) years' experience in a scrum master role demonstrating proficiency in the following activities:
• Conduct all Scrum related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospective, and product demos.
• Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing and leveraging metrics to continuously improve the team's efficiency and performance.
• Liaise between product management, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to foster quality communication.
• Provide appropriate oversight on the team's progress to ensure delivery is on time.
• Ensure all scrum activities are tracked, and kept up-to-date, and reported daily; and reported on a daily basis.
• Ensure impediments are removed, product quality and timeliness of efforts.
• Leading, training, and coaching team members.

Experience with the following methods:

• Agile Project Management Methodology.
• Agile Supporting software such as JIRA Green hopper, RALLY, MINGLE, Zen hub.
• Experience working in a scaled agile environment.
• Experience working coaching Junior Scrum Masters.
• Experience working with multiple teams/partners for a product.
• Experience defining metrics and processes to support organizational and program/portfolio processes (e.g., program increment planning).
• Some knowledge of Project Management Process Groups and Knowledge Areas as described in "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK® Guide"; and SDLC Waterfall Methodology
