RoleThe Sound Designer is a core member of ACQ Media's post-production audio team, responsiblefor executing high-quality audio work across multiple series and content formats simultaneously. You will work within an established pipeline - supported and mentored by the Senior SoundDesigner - handling dialogue editing, sound design, music integration, and mix on long-formseries, podcasts, and social content. You will also support production audio capture on set asneeded, gaining hands-on experience working alongside high-profile talent in a professionalproduction environment. Must be in Las Vegas, NV or willing to relocate. Audio Execution & Sound Design Execute dialogue editing, sound design, music integration, and audio mix acrossassigned series and content formats Deliver clean, polished audio that meets ACQ Media's quality standards and brandguidelines for each project Work across multiple active series simultaneously, managing your own workload andflagging timeline risks early Apply consistent mix templates, sound design direction, and delivery specs asestablished by the Senior Sound Designer Contribute creative ideas and solutions - your perspective on the work matters and iswelcome Post-Production Audio Support Support the full audio post pipeline from raw production files through final delivery Perform audio cleanup, noise reduction, and dialogue restoration to ensure productionrecordings are post-ready Integrate music, sound effects, and ambient elements in service of the story and brandtone Complete QC passes on your own work before submission, catching issues before theybecome revisions Collaborate closely with video editors to ensure audio decisions serve the overall cut Production Audio Support Assist with on-set audio capture as needed, supporting the production team duringshoots Help maintain organized, clearly labeled audio files and session handoffs so nothing getslost between production and post Follow production audio best practices and flag any capture issues immediately so theycan be addressed before post Workflow & Standards Follow established audio workflows, intake processes, and naming conventionsconsistently Keep project sessions organized, well-documented, and easy for any team member topick up Communicate clearly and proactively with the Senior Sound Designer and post teamabout workload, progress, and any blockers Contribute to a clean, reliable handoff culture - your outputs should make the nextperson's job easier, not harder Growth & Collaboration Actively engage with feedback from the Senior Sound Designer - take it seriously,apply it, and ask questions Stay curious about new tools, techniques, and AI-driven audio solutions; share whatyou're learning with the team Support teammates when bandwidth allows and accept help when you need it - thisteam wins together Bring a collaborative, no-ego attitude to every project and every interaction Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in audio post-production, sound design, or a closelyrelated audio discipline Solid foundation in dialogue editing, sound design, music integration, and mix forlong-form or short-form content Experience working within established post-production pipelines and delivering to specon deadline Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing quality or missinghandoffs Comfortable working within project management systems (Monday.com) andcollaborative post pipelines Familiarity with industry-standard DAWs audio tools and programs Exposure to AI audio tools is a plus - curiosity about them is a must Comfortable working in project management systems and collaborative productionenvironments A genuine team player - you communicate openly, accept feedback well, and make thepeople around you better Podcast and YouTube content experience is a plus You don't need to be the most experienced person in the room - you need to be themost coachable Results Assigned audio deliverables are completed on time, at standard, and with minimalrevision cycles Sessions are consistently organized, clearly labeled, and easy for any team member topick up without confusion Production audio handoffs into post are supported reliably - files are clean, organized,and ready to work with Feedback from the Senior Sound Designer is applied quickly and visibly - growth ismeasurable over time The team experiences you as someone who makes collaboration easier, not harder Over time, your work requires less oversight and your creative instincts become atrusted part of the team's output At ACQ Media, we don't just hire for skill - we hire for character.
