Job Description
Troy Senior Citizens Center is looking for a Part-time ( 20 hours weekly) Managing Director to oversee the operations , programming and health of the Senior Center. The position acts as the Director of the organization providing leadership, strategic direction, and day to day management. The Director will work closely with the board of trustees, volunteers and the community to ensure the center serves its mission of supporting and empowering older adults.
Leadership and Operations:
Provide overall leadership and management of the Senior Centers operations
Grant Writing - Identify funding opportunities, writing grant proposals and managing submissions, secure funding for program and daily operations.
Marketing and Communications
Oversee marketing initiatives to promote the Senior centers programs and events, ensuring a positive public image and visibility in the community.
Member Relations and Community Engagement
Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective members ensuring satisfaction with services and programming.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Gerontology or related fields, proven experience in grant writing and marketing.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
Passion for supporting older adults and fostering an inclusive welcoming environment.
