Since 1946, Ace Metal Works has engineered and manufactured metal spools, carriers, and wire-handling solutions for the wire, cable, and industrial materials sectors. We’re adding a skilled MIG welder who takes pride in precision, safety, and reliable craftsmanship.
A Day on Our Second ShiftYou clock in and review the day’s fabrication drawings. You pull mild steel components, set up jigs and fixtures, check measurements with your tape and squares, and lay down clean, consistent MIG welds. As assemblies come together, you grind, drill, and cut where needed, verify critical dimensions, and sign off on quality checks. You finish the night by tidying your cell and setting the next job up for success.
