As an 80-bed skilled nursing facility, we take pride in providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.The Housekeeper plays a vital role in infection control, resident satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the facility.No experience? No problem — we are willing to train the right candidate!Essential Job DutiesClean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areasSweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfacesEmpty trash and replace liners throughout the facilityClean dining areas, offices, lobby, and staff areasFollow infection control and safety proceduresReport maintenance or safety concerns promptlyMaintain cleaning equipment and suppliesWork respectfully and professionally around elderly residentsQualificationsAbility to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 30–50 pounds as neededReliable transportation required (facility is not on a bus line)Must be able to work 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMMust be available to work every other weekendPositive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to work well with elderly residents and as part of a teamExperienceHousekeeping experience preferred but not requiredWe provide on-the-job trainingPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing and walkingRepetitive bending and reachingAbility to operate cleaning equipment safelyAbility to work in a healthcare environment
