Other duties may be assigned.Compassionate care is the top priority for all animalsKeeps kennels clean, orderly and free of odorsEnsures that kennel areas are clean, orderly and safe for animalsFeeds animals as scheduled and according to guidelines and makes sure that they have water at all timesComplies with specific feeding programs related to behavioral enrichment for specific animalsEnsures that animals have socialization dailyExercises/socializes animals daily and abides by exercise program in place for each dog/catDocuments necessary animal information for management or veterinary staff.Ensures the comfort and cleanliness of all animalsBathes or cleans animals immediately if they become soiled with urine, blood, or feces.Takes inventory of stock supplies as neededCleans laundry as neededAdvises Supervisor of any conditions that are unsafe including unrecognized hazards or infractions of safety rules.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
